'Elliott Clays' Simulated Clay Days are a fast growing and highly popular alternative to a full 'Driven Game Shoot'.
Our simulations take place in the magnificent Hills, Glens, and beautiful grounds of Birkhill Castle Estate, situated in the historic county of Fife, Scotland. 'Elliott Clays' Simulated Clay Days combine all the thrills and excitement of a driven shoot with the exact same environment and, best of all, they are available all year round for a fraction of the cost.
With full tuition on hand, and no equipment or prior experience necessary, Simulated Clay Days are fully accessible to everyone: we are always delighted to welcome friends, families with children, corporate groups and company team-building exercises, regardless of whether or not participants have ever held a gun before. We are also here for the more accomplished and expert shots who may simply want to 'keep their eye in'.
A typical day starts with a hearty breakfast followed by a safety briefing, and then it's off in the 4x4's to the first drive. Our mobile trailers can put up to 200 clay targets into the sky per minute so there is always plenty to aim at! We simulate drives for pheasant, grouse, duck, and partridge; and, at the end of the day, we'll retire together for a delicious dinner or barbecue and share 'a wee dram' whilst re-living the highlights of the day's shoot.
